Jim Carrey is a popular Canadian Actor and Comedian.
Jim Carrey was born in Newmarket, Ontario on January 17, 1962. In 1979, Carrey began doing stand up in Toronto and became a headliner in 1981. In the 1980's, he moved to Los Angeles and was noticed by comedian Rodney Dangerfield, who signed the young comedian to open Dangerfield's tour performances. Jim Carrey then appeared in television shows like The Duck Factory, Earth Girls Are Easy, and In living Color. Jim then made his first film appearence in Rubberface and his first staring role was in Once Bitten. Other films Jim Carrey has been in are Ace Ventura, The Mask, Dumb and Dumber, Batman Forever, The Cable Guy, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Bruce Almighty, Horton Hears a Who!, Yes Man, A Christmas Carol, and Mr. Popper's Penguins.
